Tests operation parameters of the system in winter in 2010—2011, including COP of the heat pump, the soil temperature, inlet and outlet water temperatures of the heat pump and heat transfer capacity of the ground heat exchanger. Compares the energy consumption and operation costs between the system and gas-fired boilers for heating the pool water. The testing result shows that applying the system to natatorium in winter has a significant energy saving effect in Shanghai area.
